Reviews
He is friendly and listens to what you have to say
When I got upset, he gave me time and also spoke to me about why I was upset
Even after all the tests were done and they were fine, he checked with me to see if there was anything he could help with further and he reassured me that what I am experiencing will ease in time
But if I had any concerns I was to go back to him
Straight to the point. Informative
The care given by Dr Matthew Trotter is a perfect example of how a patient-doctor interaction should work. He took time to listen to all the symptoms and did not rush. He also took the time and care to explain the detailed diagnosis and treated us with respect.
I would always recommend Dr Matthew Trotter to any patient suffering from any ENT condition.
I have been treated for the last few years and am very pleased with all his care and treatment. He has performed three surgeries one of them very invasive and he has preserved some of my hearing that I would have otherwised lost.
Mr trotter has also made sure I had the right after care and support in getting the correct hearing aid.
He always reassured me on my check ups when I was concerned of the problem recurring in my ear.
My only problem is the length of time between appointments but realise that there are many patients requiring treatment.
We are parents of 2 boys that have been under the care of Mr Trotter for around 3 years, he has performed mastoidectomy's and recontructions on both boys and we have never had any doubts of trust that our boys would be looked after before, during and after their operations. Mr Trotter has always been friendly and very welcoming making the whole situation alot easier to take in and deal with. He always takes great care in talking to the boys during their appointments and listens to them - talking like a friend to make their experience calmer. We would 100% recommended Mr Trotter to anyone and everyone that requires a specialist in ENT (and any other departments he specialises in).
